Wick & Sip: A Candlemaking Soiree

Join us for an afternoon of handcrafting, learning, and fun! Bring a friend (or make new ones) for this introductory wick & sip candle workshop that combines education with a festive soirée to celebrate the season. We’ll put on some music and have a great time!

We'll start by gauging the group's interest level to shape the educational component. Just looking for holiday fun? We'll keep the candle science light! Eager to deeply understand the candlemaking process? We're happy to dive into properties and techniques at a deeper level, and will cater that component to the group.

We’ll work with a soy-coconut wax blend, and high quality, clean fragrances—free from noxious phthalates and carcinogens.

Cost is $55 per person, with an age recommendation of 18+.

What’s included:

* One 10 oz coconut-soy candle crafted by your own hands * Poured in classic reusable barware (heavy sham straight-sided rocks glasses) * Scents to choose from in a variety of scent families (fresh, fruity, gourmand, outdoorsy, boozy); Scents are proprietary blends - you won’t find them elsewhere * Instruction tailored to the groups’ preference * Optional custom labeling * Yummy trays of complimentary light bites to snack on plus wine and non-alcoholic beverages (a donation for wine is appreciated by TDAC) * A chance to win sweet prizes! Wine will be available for purchase. Interested in making more than one candle (keep one, gift one)? Participants will have the option to add an additional candle for $20 on the day of the event.
