Create lifelong memories for your child! The Dalles Art Center Summer Art Camps consist of 6 different week-long camps full of exploration, creativity and fun. No experience is necessary. This is a supportive environment for kids entering grades 1st-3rd and 4th - 6th to engage with art and make new friends.

Each week is tailored to a different age group, creating an environment where skill level and project completion time is more evenly aligned throughout the class. Please ensure you're choosing the correct ticket price when making your purchase.

Summer Art Camp Details:

Camp runs Tuesday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM
All supplies and instruction are included in the camp fee
Campers should bring their own lunch, snacks, and beverages each day
Wear comfortable clothes and shoes—art can be messy, and we take a short daily walk to City Park (just two blocks away)

Each camp session is led by professional teaching artists, with assistance from trained volunteers. All instructors and volunteers working with children at The Dalles Art Center complete a background check and are trained in our Child Protection Policy.

TDAC offers sliding scale scholarships to make camp accessible for all. When registering, please indicate the scholarship level you're applying for. Note: All scholarship recipients are asked to pay a $25 registration fee. Students may enroll in multiple weeks of camp, but are eligible for only one scholarship per camper.
