About The Event
The Way We See It brings together six local artists whose creative practices span a remarkable range of mediums, perspectives and lived experiences. What unites them is a shared commitment to exploring, questioning and celebrating the world around them through art.
Working in oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, mixed media, monotype, printmaking, collage, mosaics and ceramics, each artist offers an intimate look at the way they observe and interpret the landscapes, stories and everyday moments that shape their lives. The exhibition highlights the individuality of each voice while revealing the richness that emerges when artists create in community.
Featured artists include:
Diana McElheran – Acrylic and mixed media works that move fluidly between loose realism and semi-abstract expression, informed by life on a wheat ranch in Maupin.
Jeanney McArthur – Emotion-driven expressionist pieces spanning figure work, monotype, mixed media and jewelry, shaped by her life in Sherman County.
