The Dalles Art Center & TDAC Landscaping Committee and The Beautification Committee of The City of The Dalles present an exhibit and multi-week schedule of programs around the concept that the beauty of nature can be found in the garden.

The exhibit at TDAC will showcase regional Cascadia artists who are creating work in response to the prompt: How does nature show up in our everyday lives through a garden? Historically, gardens have been designed to tame the wild with the use of landscaping tools and chemicals. In more recent years, aligned with the effort to create pollinator/bird/animal-friendly green spaces has helped to increase the use of native plants and to reduce the use of chemicals.
