Summer Camp Week 6: Mural Magic! (4th-6th grade)
Create lifelong memories for your child! The Dalles Art Center Summer Art Camp is a week of exploration, creativity and fun. No experience is necessary. This is a supportive environment for kids entering grades 1st-3rd to engage with art and make new friends.

About The Event
Get ready to go big with mural art! This week, campers will learn the basics of large-scale painting, from planning and design to working collaboratively on a shared mural project downtown. Students will explore composition, color, and storytelling through visual art, and reveal their finished portion of the mural during a Student Art Show and Ribbon Cutting on Friday, August 7!
This year's summer camp mural will reflect the themes of the new The Dalles Roundabout installation, honoring the natural ecology of our river and the cultural significance of its species. Expect campers to come home with lots of fun facts about local fish!
