Summer Art Camp Week 5: Paint Play
Create lifelong memories for your child! The Dalles Art Center Summer Art Camp is a week of exploration, creativity and fun. No experience is necessary. This is a supportive environment for kids entering grades 2 - 6 to engage with art and make new friends.

About The Event
This week students will learn to create and paint using a variety of mediums and techniques. Instructor Auria Willow teaches how to get creative and have fun with paint! Each day students will learn new painting skills, finishing with a Student Art Show on Friday, August 2nd to show off all their creations!
About the Instructor:
Auria has been teaching and guiding children to channel their natural creative genius into unique and innovative creations for over a decade. She uses her professional experience supporting highly sensitive children and their parents to inform her creative practices and teaching perspective.
Summer Art Camp runs Tuesday - Friday from 9:00 am - 4:30 pm. Supplies and instruction are included in your fee. Each camper will need to bring their own snacks, lunches and beverages. Wear comfortable clothes that are ok to get messy in and comfortable shoes for walking. We walk to City Park - a 2 block walk.
Each session is taught by artists with support from volunteers. All instructors and volunteers working with children at TDAC go through a background check.
A note about scholarships & the registration system: TDAC offers scholarships on a sliding scale. When you check out, please indicate which level you are requesting. To register online, the system requires a dollar amout thus the full scholarship is listed at $1. We apologize for this circumstance. If you prefer to register in person, please come into the The Dalles Art Center during open hours: Thursday-Sunday, 11am-5pm.

This ticket is for 4-days of art camp with materials & instruction at The Dalles Art Center. Session dates are Tuesday, June 25 - Friday, June 28th. **Please note that to register online for full scholarship the website requires a $1 fee to process. You also have the option to register in person at TDAC to not incur the $1 fee.
