Create lifelong memories for your child! The Dalles Art Center Summer Art Camp is a week of exploration, creativity and fun. No experience is necessary. This is a supportive environment for kids entering grades 1st-3rd to engage with art and make new friends.

About The Event
Unleash your inner artist in this fun, hands-on week all about color theory! Campers entering 1st to 3rd grade will explore how colors mix, contrast, and complement each other through creative projects in painting, drawing, and design. By the end of the week, young artists will understand how to use color to bring their artwork to life—and showcase their creations in a Student Art Show on Friday, July 25!
Meet the Instructor:
Aurienne Meyer is a local artist and college student studying to become an elementary school teacher. With over eight years of experience in painting and creative arts, she has also worked as a student teacher’s aide and classroom assistant. As both an artist and a mom, she brings a warm, encouraging approach to teaching children, and loves helping young artists grow in confidence and creativity.

Camp runs Tuesday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM
