Create lifelong memories for your child! The Dalles Art Center Summer Art Camp is a week of exploration, creativity and fun. No experience is necessary. This is a supportive environment for kids entering grades 1st-3rd to engage with art and make new friends.

About The Event
Discover the art of ceramics in Week 2 of Summer Art Camp with local artist Amber Anderson! This first week is designated for students entering 4th to 6th grade. Campers will explore hand-building techniques each day, creating fun and functional pieces in clay. The week wraps up with a special Student Art Show on Friday, July 11, where young artists can proudly share their creations with family and friends.
Meet the Instructor:
Amber Anderson has been working in ceramics for over a decade. She draws inspiration from her surroundings and the creative community she’s built through the years. Amber is passionate about sharing her love of pottery and enjoys helping others grow their skills while learning together through the creative process.
Summer Art Camp Details:
Camp runs Tuesday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM
All supplies and instruction are included in the camp fee
