Sumi-Brush Painting

Using traditional Japanese calligraphy kits, participants in this two-part workshop will learn and expand on the fundamentals of brush and ink painting.  No prior experience is needed.   The workshop will be divided into working in the studio and on location at Yvonne's Art Studio directly on the Riverfront Trail.

Yvonne Pepin-Wakefield is an author and artist who writes and paints from a custom-built showcase/art studio located in The Dalles, Oregon. The studio exhibits and sells her original paintings and ceramics along with signed copies of her autobiographical books.

Each workshop is broken into two parts: 6:00pm-7:30pm on Friday, and 11:30am-1:00pm on Saturday.
