Observational Watercolor Painting with Molly Lira

In this class, students will embark on an exciting journey into the world of watercolor painting, where they will not only learn the foundational techniques of this beautiful medium but also develop a more profound understanding of the interplay between color and shape. Throughout the class, students will engage in hands-on activities that emphasize the unique properties of watercolors, such as transparency, layering, and blending, which are essential for creating the vibrant and dynamic works of art watercolor is known for.

About the instructor:

Molly Lira is an artist that loves to create with her hands--especially painting with watercolor! Molly has been drawing and painting since childhood and developed her skills by carefully observing the world around her.

This program will run June 7th, from 2-5pm. If more time is needed, there is a possibility of a follow up class.
