Get your Halloween weekend started off with this after-work/after-school event. Free! We have a special guest who will read The Raven, a poem by Edgar Allan Poe. We'll have pumpkin carving and make your own raven window art activities! Enjoy complimentary beverages & snacks. Reserve your spot!

About The Event
Get Your Halloween Spirit at our free event. Thomas Pfau will read Edgar Allen Poe's poem, The Raven. We'll have drinks and snacks, pumpkin carving(!) and a make your own Raven window art activity. Stop by after work or after school for a bit of Victorian England captured in a lyrical poem. This event is free but space is limited so please reserve your spot! Light snacks and beverages will be served. Costumes encouraged.
"The Raven" is a narrative poem by American writer Edgar Allan Poe. First published in January 1845, the poem is often noted for its musicality, stylized language, and supernatural atmosphere. It tells of a distraught lover who is paid a mysterious visit by a talking raven.
Thomas Pfau, PhD has published in the Paris Review and has a doctorate from the University of Houston.
