Let's Weave a Market Basket

Basket weaving is a craft of old, made in many forms and created in every country on this earth. You will learn the basics of basket weaving in this hands-on one-day class. Participants will create a 8” square basket with a 12” D handle. This basket can be completed in 3-4 hours, you will leave class with a completed project. You will have your choice of accent color; example picture shows green and red.

Instructor:

Christina Bush is a basket weaver and a quilter. She started weaving about nine years ago when she wanted a mental break from working full-time and going to college full-time. She started sewing at an early age with her grandmother sitting at a Singer treadle machine. This love for crafting and making carried through her life as a military spouse and mother of two. A couple of years ago friends began requesting her to give classes because there were few places to learn this craft.
