About The Event
Wooden Toy Design & Building
A One-Day Workshop with Artist Rod Stewart
Come spend a day designing, building, and bringing your own wooden creations to life! In this hands-on workshop, students will explore the art of toy making as they design and construct wooden toy boats, airplanes, cars, trucks, and small mobiles.
With guidance from artist and educator Rod Stewart, students will learn basic woodworking skills and explore the creative process of toy design. From imagining an idea to working with wood and building a finished creation, participants will have the opportunity to experiment, problem-solve, and make something uniquely their own.
No previous woodworking experience is necessary. Come ready to create, build, and have fun!
