About The Event
Participants will learn the principles of basic tapestry weaving including planning a weaving; warping a small frame loom; keeping edges straight; joining colors; various edge finishes including fringe types; working in ends; finishing a tapestry.
Instructor will supply looms; weaving tools; yarn; scissors and small notebook. This is a two day workshop. Students should bring a sack lunch both days.

Sunday, October 23rd, 10am - 3pm
Workshop cost: $180
Material cost: $20
Students will have the option of purchasing their looms at the end of the class. Cost TBD.
Instructor Bio:
Kristi Strasen has 35+ years’ experience in textiles and is the principal of Textiles+Color – a textile design and color consulting business.
