Artist Talk: Life's Rich Palettes

Join us for an evening of conversation and insight as we welcome artists Cate Hotchkiss and Jessalyn Haggenjos for an engaging Artist Talk in conjunction with our current exhibit, Life’s Rich Palettes.

Through photography and painting, these two artists explore the abundance of the natural world—Hotchkiss capturing ephemeral brilliance through the lens, and Haggenjos constructing layered, abstract landscapes inspired by the Pacific Northwest. Although working in different mediums, both artists share a deep fascination with light, color, and the beauty of the natural world.

During this talk, Cate and Jessalyn will discuss their creative processes, sources of inspiration, and the intersections between their practices. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and connect more deeply with the art on exhibit.
