About The Event
Join author Karl Vercouteren for the launch of his new book, "All Together The Dalles Too."
After receiving his major in History from Lakeland University, Karl spent years as a pastor and historian in Kentucky before moving to The Dalles in 1977. Since then, Karl has been involved with the Original Wasco County Courthouse board, helped found the Regional History Forum, and has been involved with countless historical projects and organizations. Karl became involved with the 'All Together The Dalles' project; helping to develop the list of locations and writing blog postings followed by the descriptions seen in the book.
"All Together The Dalles Too" is a continuation of this project, paying homage to those buildings, people and places that didn't make it into the original book.
