Drawing and Composition

Tuesdays, March 17th to April 28th, 10:00am-1:00pm 

$325 for six week session, 10% discount for TDAC or Maryhill Museum Members.

Chris Pothier will review basic concepts and skills of drawing from life. Building on this foundation, students will refine their skills in drawing and composition in order to complete a fully finished piece with attention to foreground, middle ground and background. Sketches throughout the class will help define the finished work. Students will be given a behind the scenes look at Maryhill as well as working in the gallery or education space. Beginning Patchwork Quilting- 4 Patch Chain
Thursday, March 12, 2020, 5:30-8:00pm


Corliss Marsh will teach you the fundamentals of quilting in an evening. You learn how to cut fabric, layout the pattern and sew in a straight line. The class will get you started and on your way to making a 3 foot by 4 foot top. The class is $15. You may bring your own fabric and sewing machine, but a $5 cloth kit and sewing machine will be available. Call 541-296-4759 to reserve a spot.
