50th Annual Art Auction

We had a wonderful & successful 50th Annual Art Auction on November 3, 2007. KC Cowan of Oregon Art Beat was emcee for the evening and Marcus Morgan, Oregon's 2006-2007 Grand Champion Auctioneer, was auctioneer with help from Jake Grossmiller.  Jake opened the evening with the First Chance raffle and began the oral auction by offering the first three items, all done by artists who had contributed to the first auction held in 1958. Jake's father had been the auctioneer at the first auction.

Wonderful hors d’oeuvres were provided by Bon Appetit and desserts by Palate Pleaser.  Three local wineries were featured: Erin Glenn Winery, Bolton Cellars and Wheatridge in the Nook Winery along with beer from Full Sail Brewery.  Joel Kabakof on his guitar provided live music during the silent auction.
