51st Annual Art Auction

Wow! We had a fun evening at the 52nd Annual Art Auction that was held on November 7th, 2009. There was a full ballroom at the Civic Center this year. Baldwin Saloon donated the wonderful food, Dan Poage serenaded us, and KC Cowan graced the event as emcee once again this year--along side auctioneer Marcus Morgan!

Going into this year's auction, we knew not to have too high of expectations because of the suffering economy. But we did way better than we expected! The 2009 auction earned $125 more than 2008's auction and our expenses were less thanks to Baldwin Saloon donating all of the food. We raised (net) a total of $20, 424. The Special Appeal auction (for use in updating all of our electronics at the Art Center) raised $3,700. Art, indeed, sustains. Thank you art supporters!
